The awards took place last month, and it turned out to be a rather successful day for some members of One Fylde who truly deserved an award for their hard work and inspiration.
Lauren Jeffrey – “Lauren was successful gaining employment with One Fylde in January 2022, she promotes the Social Model of Disability by having overcome barriers to take up employment in an office environment, learn new skills and earn income.”
Scott Brewin – “Scott is a very energetic positive character. He is a DJ and uses these talents to DJ for those with disabilities. Scott also supports local veterans and will help with local events, and advocate those with disabilities.”
James Cato – “James began volunteering in the office at One Fylde in May 2022, he is a lovely young man and is a delight to work with. By doing this role, James has overcome the personal challenges that come from living with a disability.”
