A message from One Fylde CEO, Tracey Bush, about our response
I understand that many of you will be concerned about your family members and how the Coronavirus may affect One Fylde.
We are taking our guidance from Public Health England and our commissioning partners. It is with this advice and guidance that we are actively planning for and making decisions to support our service delivery during the coming months. This includes, daily briefing with our key personnel, close communications, review of support plans per person to anticipate and plan for every eventuality and arrangements to ensure key operations continue.
We continue to be vigilant in monitoring this advice and adjusting what we are doing whenever necessary. We aim to continue to provide services as normal wherever possible with the people we support and our staff, but the government’s rules on social distancing have meant that events and activities have been cancelled.
We will, of course, continue to follow all advice from Public Health England, including that relating to handwashing and hygiene, and are updating and informing our staff and the people we support about this on a regular basis.
In line with the guidance regarding social distancing and to protect your family and our staff we request that you do not visit your family member.
We understand this is a very difficult and anxious time for many people, and we will endeavour to keep you closely informed and updated to the extent we can, in particular where we implement any significant changes or practices. In the meantime, please do not hesitate to contact me personally if there is any matter about which you would like to discuss – keeping the lines of communication open will help everyone in the long run.
My mobile phone number is 07984 246 040 please do not hesitate to get in touch.
If you would like to be included in our new WhatsApp group please text me and I will include you on the group to have an additional line of communication.
Thank you for your on-going support and understanding.
